There are two procedures that exist:
1.- Legalization, applies to countries that are not part of the Hague Convention, requires certification in the Peruvian Consulate of the country of destination.

It is necessary to present documents issued in Peru for the foreigner, this process can be done in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru certifies police and judicial records, health certificates, birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, death certificates, etc.
Apostille Requirements – Peru Apostille
When submitting a document in a country whose language is not Spanish, there must be a translation. The document must be original and have annexes with the translation.
